Rated 5 out of 5Â by Boat Ed Great boat shoes! Great shoes, great price - Sperry is the only shoe in my closet, on my feet or on my boat. Last year's pair got me through Hurricane Issac! October 29, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Rob4Cats Order 1/2 size larger than your regular size and I think you will be happy. I am. I ordered my regular size (9 1/2 W). When I got them I tried them on and they felt too tight. I considered trying to wear them until they stretched enough to be comfortable. I decided to order 1/2 size larger (10 W) and I am glad I did. A comfortable fit right out of the box. I did notice that the Sperry boats shoes of Today are different than their predecessors of 20 or 30 years ago in that the flap that contains the eyes and laces is located about 3/4 inch closer to the heel end of the shoe than they were in my Sperry's from the 1880's. With this style I suggest you start with 1/2 size larger than you wear in most shoes and I think you will be pleased with the fit and comfort of your Sperry's. I particularly like the AVS Mariner II, and the Mako II. My son got the Gold Cup Authentic Original 2-Eye boat shoe and they look and feel fabulous but also are a little tight on him, but the leather is so soft he will likely just wear them and they will loosen up. . I will try them too if and when they offer them is Wide width. May 8, 2013
