Rated 4 out of 5Â by Arturo Very comfy, but may not be afull muccasin construction. I have some concerns about the softness of the outer leather.
Having worn topsiders for 30 yearsâ¦through the prep school mania and college, I remember an American made product that had a more durable and better tranned leatherâ¦like it had come from Horwein or a plave like that. Also, the soles were a bit more substantial. The Gold Cup I have has a litter thicker sole than the originals I used to wear, but it is a bit softer sole. It does stick well, but the softness is not quite what I remember. The soft insides are pleasantly nice to the touch, and that softness does not bother me. Inside the shoe when you peek, looking in the front, appears to be a full moccasin construction based on the front stitching. But if you peek under the cushioned insert at the heel, it appears that under that section there is a section without leather. I may be corrected, but if that is the case it seems like a cheap choice when it would take very little to do the full moc which made all Topsiders special and added quality. I wish that this company had stayed in US as did another great moccasin and shoe maker (Maine) and had kept the quality to what it was when I grew up. But we will see how these wear. No question they are very attractive shoes.

Rated 4 out of 5 Classy boat shoe
Outstanding style and comfort but you may come across sizing issues. I had to return a pair because they were too big. I re-ordered a size down to fit my narrow foot and they fit great now.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Nick66 Didn't live up to my expectations.
I had to remove the insoles because they stuck to my feet when worn without socks. I replaced them with inexpensive Dr. Scholls insoles and I think they're much more comfortable. I also don't care much for the squishy feel of the memory foam.
The dark tan color doesn't look like it does on the website, to me it has kind of a greenish tint.
The standard top siders I bought many years ago were more comfortable. I guess I just expected more for the price.

Sperry makes very few shoes in narrow widths. None of the new models are offered in any width other than Medium. Only one or two of the old standard models are offered in narrow widths. I only need a Narrow, nothing extreme like a AA.
Therefore, I have not bought any Sperry shoes for a long time.
