"I ordered a 7.5 M in this shoe and it appeared too snug...tried a size 8 at a local vendor (Lourie's in Columbia) in a different color and it appears much more comfortable. The shoe size was based on a pair of top-siders that I currently have. When styles might dictate a different size, you might have some way of alerting customers...maybe you do but I missed it. "Nice shoe - maybe too nice and not really practical. At 50 years old, wearing orthotics full time and very active on/around the water, I look for boat shoes that have great cushioning & support for the long hours I spend at the helm and taking care of my vessels. Obviuosly, non-skid, non-marking soles and other Sperry characteristics are a must, but the added support & cushioning is now also a must have.

"Excellent workmanship. I like the string laces, which tie easily and stay tied (unlike the leather laces on other models). This shoe is expensive but worth it. Important. - the sizing's not quite right. My normal size, for Sperrys and other shoes, is 10-1/2, but in this shoe that size was too tight, and I had to return it. The size 11s are a little loose, but I've kept them and wear them daily."
