"The Gold Cup 2-Eye is a true example of quality shoe making. The outer leather is a step above the standard Topsider (which I have worn for years) and the deerskin lining provides an elegant feel.
I have one problem that is working its way out - the shoe must be a little higher/deeper than most because it is pushing up into my ankle on the outer side. Otherwise, very comfortable - particularly the memory insole.

"I used to wear Sperry Topsiders boatshoes years ago, but stopped because the stitching tended to open up - not well made. I bought the Gold Cup because they looked much better made than the earlier ones, which has proved to be the case, and because they had my size - wide - I am difficult to fit. These shoes are very comfortable, as well as being god looking. I'm sure I will stick with this model as long as they are made."
